WINES AND PERFUMES

In a unique sensory workshop, meticulously crafted by myself and a perfumer from Grasse, discover the similarities between perfume and wine, the work of the perfumer and that of the oenologist. Led by a sommelier and a perfumer, a workshop to understand the olfactory mechanisms, sensory memory, the creative work of the perfumer and the oenologist. Learn to recognize the families of aromas in perfume and wine. Experience olfaction and blind tasting with several perfumes and wines, deploy your senses, learn and feel. The workshop concludes with a shared snack.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE WINES AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS?

What differentiates Sauvignon Blanc from Rolle, Pinot Noir from Cabernet Sauvignon? What does it mean for a wine to be tannic or to have strong minerality? What aromas can be found in wines from Provence or Burgundy? How can one recognize a young or mature wine? Under what conditions will it reveal itself best? For 2 hours, explore the variety of wines, their multitude of aromas and tastes, their specificities through a guided blind tasting (without revealing the origin) during which everyone expresses and shares their feelings and perceptions.
